Not worried about getting a bit wet as he passed his big bike Module 1 test today. Kept his cool and showed excellent balance and control in spite of boots and gloves being full of water. Mod 2 coming soon.

Time for a celebration. Well done to Jon for passing his Mod 1 test at the first attempt today in Newport. Seen here with the remains of his celebration breakfast. An early start but well worth it. Now come on…..don’t leave those tomatoes……

A Grand Day Out! Well done to Richard & Craig, pictured here at the test centre in Newport after passing their Mod 2 Bike test at the first attempt today. Both trained and took their tests together. Their training course was 1 Day for a CBT. 1 Day for a ‘step up’ day on to the big bikes. 1 Day, with their Mod 1 test in the afternoon (which they passed first time) and the final day today with their Mod 2 test this afternoon, with a first time 1st Class pass. All smiles for them and a big thumbs up.

CBT. Here is Tom & Andrew, both local, and Tristan who traveled from Machynlleth for his CBT on Saturday. Well done to all three of them. All proved themselves to be competent riders, and got their training in before the deluge that came later in the day. Three more 1st Class Riders out on the road, and riding safely.

A great Mod 2 Pass. Pictured here (in sunnier times) is Vernon who has just passed his Mod 2 bike test in Merthyr…. the wettest Merthyr I’ve ever seen. Keeping calm in atrocious conditions he passed with just a couple of minor rider faults. The rain was so heavy at one point he had to pull over…… to let Noah and The Ark float by… Well done to him and he can now stop polishing his Honda Deauville and get it out on the road.

Well done Ladies. Pictured here is Jen. All smiles after passing her Module 2 bike test in Newport yesterday. Stayed calm in a torrential downpour to pass with just a couple of rider faults. Well done. (She said that she didn’t even notice the rain!). Congratulations also to Sue who passed her Mod 2 in Llandrindod Wells earlier. Both giving a tough act to follow, and setting the pace for the ladies.

All Out in the Sunshine. All our bikes were out today. Here is Paul, Alex, Jamie, and Curtis on their step up day on to the big bikes on Sunday. Clocking up the miles and practising the exercises in preparation for the Mod 1 tests to be arranged. After a stop at Norms Cafe of Course. Alex taking every opportunity to eat! All did well and ready for the next stage. Big congratulations also to Nathan who passed his Mod 2 in Merthyr on Monday. Not pictured but no doubt already out shopping for a bike. Even if he did go the wrong way and lead the Examiner on a bit of a trek to get back on course. A great result for him.

CBT. Paul gives Dan some individual help in pulling away on a Cbt. In the background Luke gets to grips with the Yamaha 125. Both completed their Cbt to a good standard. Ready for the next stage of the training.
