Bloody L!! The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) have just released statistics which highlight the top 10 reasons why candidates fail their driving test. Among them were ‘insufficient observation at junctions’ and ‘not using mirrors effectively when changing direction’. These amounted for over 368,000 test failures. Both of these ‘errors’ can have a massive effect on us as motorcyclists If learner drivers are not being taught to carry out such checks correctly, this could account for why so many crashes causing injury for bikers, occur in such situations.
