This is Jay & James who both took advantage of the Council and Welsh Assembly funded Motorcycle Safety Scheme.
Both riding 125s having recently completed their cbt, they suffered a complete soaking yesterday to do the training.
Both received valuable lessons, (with several examples provided by the public!) of how to deal with motorists who don’t stop at Red Traffic Lights, those who open car doors without looking & Taxi drivers who blatently ignore the rules of the road!
And much more guidance given by our Instructor, Dixie, on hazard perception whilst riding in City traffic. From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
So come and get it.
The March issue is out now and it’s as FREE as it’s ever been. From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
As part of our Council funded motorcycle training scheme here is James & his Uncle Geoff enjoying a break on their free day, both riding Triumphs.
Both James & Geoff use their bikes for commuting and found the training (with one of our Police trained Instructors) “excellent”.
We have provided training for almost 20 riders so far on a variety of bikes and the funding for the scheme ends in March so if you want to see if we can fit you in, then don’t hang about.

There’s still room for you… just! From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
Here is Phil & Gobind who both passed their Mod 2 tests today. Just a couple of minor faults between them. Great results.
Gobind is a Seikh and could legally ride wearing a turban but chooses to wear a helmet as he said he has lost a few friends over the years who have been killed whilst not wearing a helmet back home in Kuala Lumpur.
Interesting debating point, in Canada they are repealing the exemption and requiring Seikhs to wear helmets.
If you were allowed to ride without a helmet – would you? From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
Is this what hapoens when you don’t pay your signwriters enough! From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
I have had a student drop out of the training scheme, funded by the Council, for a free training day for tomorrow – Thursday the 12th.
This would suit the rider of a smaller CC bike as the other student taking part is on a 125 having completed a cbt.
This is aimed at riders to take part on their own bikes. Starting at 8am it is a 7 hour training day.
If you want to take this vacancy please text me your details on 07545567273. From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
An item on the news this morning featured Driverless Cars.
Amazing, but they’ve been around for ages.
Just this morning, going into work, I saw more than a dozen. The people in the “driver’s” seat were reading a newspaper, texting or talking on the phone and a few were doing their hair and make up!
The main difference being though, the ones featured on the news can’t crash, for everyone else…. take control and look where you’re going.
Because your car is NOT driverless. From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
