Another 1st Class Rider steals the show. But it’s no crime! Well done to Rav who passed his Mod 1 test at his first attempt today. A clean sheet apart from taking a second run to get up to speed on the swerve exercise. A great result for him and He’s ready now for his Mod 2. Well done.

It’s a Pass! Well done to Lucy who passed her Mod 2 test at her first attempt today, proving that she really is a 1st Class Rider. Getting her A2 full licence means she is about to take to the road on her restricted 600. Great stuff! Stop polishing….. get riding. Well Done.

Bikes in Bus Lanes. Cardiff Council have agreed to run a six month trial, starting in August to allow Scooters & Motorbikes to use the City Bus Lanes. This is seen as a positive move towards easing congestion and we have always argued that this would give consistency to our learners who train in Cardiff but take their tests in Newport. For some time in Newport, bikes have been allowed to use the bus lanes and you could fail your test if you don’t use them. Keep an eye out for the change in the signs this August. Just remember not to jump the gun as you could still be prosecuted if you start using them now! This trial is good news for us on 2 wheels.
