What a day for Mikaela. She was booked in for her Mod 2 Big Bike test today in Merthyr. But I received an email from her late last night saying that she wouldn’t be able to make it as someone had run into her car.
I contacted her this morning to check if she still felt up to it we would get the bike to the test centre for her.
She decided to go for it and arranged a hire car to get to Merthyr. Arriving in time to have a quick practice run with instructor Jeff.
Cool as a cucumber & (to use a clean version of one of her own sayings) she nailed it!
What a day. What a result! Well done Wonder Woman. From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD

He is Suhail & Sian starting their ‘Step Up Day’ today. Jeff explains the controls of the 600 preparing them for their first time on a big bike. With a practice session booked on the test centre site in Newport for later today, they are all keen to get going.
By pure coincidence Suhail’s Son has booked a cbt for today…. Guess who with! He is in the classroom block in the background starting his course. Like Father like Son.
Sian has been riding her KTM 125 and is keen to get on something bigger. She has a Monster waiting for her at home. (That’s a Ducati – not her Husband!!) From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
Crystal clear radio communications is an essential part of hassle free training and a legal requirement for our students. So when a few gremlins started creeping in, today we paid a very worthwhile visit to Chainspeed just north of Carmarthen.
Sam here working on my bike is a specialist in Autocom systems and also on board camera systems.
Within minutes the gremlins were found and corrected. Brilliant service and expert knowledge.
So much so we may be arranging a ride out to pay a visit, as Sam said he can do a presentation on bike to bike (or pillion) systems and the pros & cons of wired or wireless etc and he will demonstrate his stock of Drift cameras.
If you are considering riding and talking to your mates or filming your day’s event then Sam is the guy to speak to.
