Blind Spots.
The rider in the centre is surrounded by two pedestrians & two other bikes.
None of these are visible to the rider in the centre unless he turns his head.
Mirrors are very useful but none of these people or vehicles are visible in the mirrors, or out the corner of the rider’s eye.
This is why “moving off checks” & “Lifesavers” are so important .
If they can get that close to you without being seen, then so can cars, trucks and anything else we encounter on the road.
We don’t call them lifesavers for nothing you know! From: http://ift.tt/1hd7ojD
