Previous PostAre They Food Related Crashes!! Beware of riding just after you’ve eaten. As humans, we are affected by The Post Prandial Dip. One of the symptoms, after eating a big breakfast or a heavy lunch, is a drop in our concentration levels. We get sleepy and sluggish. So don’t think you’ll be as sharp as when you set off. Dyfed Powis Police & the County Council produce a leaflet every year showing details of bike crashes in the mid Wales area. Many are single vehicle collisions, occurring Sunday, just after lunch!! After a big Sunday lunch at home we just want to crash out on the sofa. So don’t jump straight back on your bike or you might ‘crash out’, just not on your sofa! Beware the Big Breakfast or the Roast Dinner.Next PostNext Post
