Motorcycle TouringOur first trip was immediately sold out and since then we have toured France & The Somme again to visit the Memorial to the missing of the Somme and the town of Fromelles, the scene of the most recent discovery of WWI mass burial sites.

We visited Normandy in the midst of the Anniversary Commemorations for the 65th anniversary of the D Day Landings, the weekend of the 6th of June. We have visited Belgium and Ypres and many sites of moving British Army History.

The Great Scottish 8.

27th September  – 1st October 2016.

We aim to tour the Northern most Highlands of Scotland in a Great Figure 8.

A guided motorcycle tour which leaves South Wales on the 27th, travelling through Mid Wales avoiding the Motorway until Chester to travel through the passes of the Lake District. Crossing the Scottish Border at Historic Gretna Green for a welcome first night stay at our favoured Hotel in Paisley.

Day two takes us deeper into the Highlands enabling us to reach the Northern Coast, largely taking the lesser known routes where ever possible. Day three brings us back down the rugged Western Coast with stunning scenery and challenging mountain roads.

Four nights of 4* and 3* hotel accommodation, bed breakfast and evening meal.

Cost is £550.

Rouen, The Capital of Upper Normandy. France. June 24th – 26th 2011

Our next trip across the Channel is scheduled for the weekend of the 24th – 26th of June 2011.

For those of you looking for something different, then this is it. Rouen and the Normandy Beaches.

Crossing from Dover to Calais on Friday morning (24th) and travelling cross country to the Medieval Town of Rouen. Rouen is one of France’s most ancient and historic Cities.

Developed over the centuries by the Romans and the Vikings and was taken under English control after a long siege in 1431. It became the stage for the trial and execution of Joan of Arc, before the City was returned to French control in 1449. Overlooking The Seine it is situated in the heart of picturesque Upper Normandy.

This will be a bike trip with a difference. So take a tour under the watchful eye of your experienced Guide/Leader. Taking a leisurely ride through very scenic countryside, this is a great trip to experience riding in France.

These tours are limited to 10 bikes only and are suitable for Riders of All Abilities. Using a Group Riding Navigation System which allows each Rider to ride at their own pace, it ensures that everyone can ride safely yet still be sure that they won’t be left behind. August 20th – 22nd 2010.

Riding through Countryside that is calm and idyllic now but was once the scene of the Bloodiest Days in British Army History.

Visiting The Somme and the border town of Fromelles where in 2009 the most recent WWI mass burial site of over 400 British & Australian Troops was found and excavated. Visit the most recent War Graves Cemetery where these brave lost Soldiers have been laid to rest side by side as they were buried during the WWI hostilities.
